If you have a vision for a custom cut gemstone, let's make it happen!

Looking for custom designed jewelry? We can do that, too!

There is a 50% non-refundable deposit for custom orders.  Final payment is due when completed, prior to shipping.  We make every effort to keep you updated on our design process with sketches, progress photos, and timelines to ensure you will receive exactly what you envisioned. Any custom designed piece is not eligible for return or exchange.

Do you offer layaway/payment plans?

Yes! Our website is automatically set up to accept multiple payments for your purchases of $100 or more. Check product page for estimated payments.

Can you resize my ring?

No, not at this time. We do not stock the supplies for resizing.

If you are unsure of your ring size, you can order a ring sizer or check at your local jewelry store.

I purchased some cabochons from someone else. Can you get a better polish on them?

Possibly. Keep in mind, though, that not all gemstone material can achieve that glassy glossy luster!

We will do our best to remove scratches and either match or improve the cabochon's luster. Price is a per hour labor fee plus shipping.

Do you offer drilling for cabochons?

Yes! We can make a 1.0mm or 2.0mm hole in any of our stones specifically marked as able to be drilled in their descriptions. Drilling is from front to back only.

Note:
• We cannot make beads.
• We are unable to top-drill or half-drill any of our finished stones. This type of drilling has to be planned before the cabbing process.
• Drilled stones are not eligible for returns.

Can you drill a hole in my gemstones/slabs?

No. We cannot drill your personal stones or slabs. No exceptions.

Can you repair my gemstone I purchased from you?

Possibly. If one of our stones broke while setting it, please contact us as soon as possible by sending an email to RaleyDesignStudios@gmail.com with your order number, clear photos of the setting and the broken pieces.

We will evaluate whether or not the stone can be repaired.

DO NOT ARBITRARILY SEND STONES TO US BEFORE APPROVAL.

If a stone is deemed unable to be repaired: We may be able to cut a new one to replace it, depending on stock available.

If a stone can be repaired: We use only museum quality, non-yellowing HXTAL NYL-1 two-part resin epoxy on repairs. This process takes approximately two weeks to fully cure before the repaired stone(s) can be returned to you.

All options for repair will be presented to you after we receive the stone(s) and before starting any repair.

Can you repair my gemstone I purchased from someone else?

No. If the stone in question was NOT purchased from us, unfortunately we are unable to repair it. There are too many variables in cut quality and material quality.

What is your favorite stone to cut?

Most any phenomenal gem like cat's-eye gems, moonstone, sunstone, or star gems. It's so satisfying to orient a stone perfectly to show off those special effects!
