From central Mexico, the very rare Morado Opal cabochon is also known as Opal Royale and Mexican Purple Opal. The purple portion of the gemstone cabochon is colored by fluorite inclusions. Morado Opal is most appropriate for earrings, pendants and other jewelry that is not exposed to impact or abrasion; not recommended for rings or bracelets.
Flat, matte finish back with a beveled edge for ease of setting. You will receive the exact gemstone shown in the pictures.
